Cooling Towers
The glycol cooling model row of DELTATHERM® is characterized by an extremely economical and reliable operating as well as by a long life span. The cooling tower program has a number of coolers with closed and open circuits. Standard cooling towers from hot-dipped sheet steel with weatherproof lacquering. The stainless steel casing is optional.The heat exchanger consists of plastic elements with high interchange power and high mechanical capacity. Special high-capacity radial or axial ventilators serve for low noise. Optionally obtainable sound absorbers reduce noise level to the minimum.

The heat exchanger is constructed of plastic elements with high heat transfer performance and high mechanical strength. Special high-performance radial or axial fans produce little noise. Optionally available sound dampers reduce the noise profile to a minimum. DELTATHERM® cooling towers are used to dissipate excess heat from production plants and are part of the turnkey central cooling tower system, which includes electronic microprocessor controls. Water preparation and treatment are, of course, included in the scope of work of DELTATHERM® engineers.

Wet cooling
Wet cooling involves spraying the water to be cooled into the air. The air heats up, which causes a chimney effect, and the water releases its energy.
Cooling towers with wet cooling have very high power density. The loss of water due to evaporation is minimized with droplet separators.
