Secondary Circuits
In large chemical and pharmaceutical groups of companies are often central energies such as cooling or heating energies. To use this energy for heating and/or cooling of, for example, reactors, DELTATHERM® uses secondary circuits (so-called monofluid systems). Secondary circuits provide tempering from -150°C up to +400°C.
- Usually the secondary circuits operates with: Steam or electric heater on the high-temperature rail
- Heat exchanger with cooling water on the medium-temperature rail
- Heat exchanger with salt water on the low-temperature rail
- Heat exchanger with heat-exchange oil or nitrogen on the ultralow-temperature rail
The practical advantages of secondary circuits by DELTATHERM® are smooth heating and cooling, secure control of critical exothermic reactions, avoidance of temperature shocks in the reactor (important for enamel and glass containers) and accommodation of heating and cooling circuits for any tasks.
The secondary circuits of DELTATHERM® are provided with variable options as well as all our products. Optional are among other things, redundant pumps, analog interface (0-10 V or 4-20mA) and digital interface ( RS 232, RS 422,
RS 485, CAN - Bus, MOD - Bus as well as Euromap 17) , spare cooling, special voltages, leak-stop function and many other things.
